The short version
Apothify does not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. There is nothing to opt out of, because none of that activity happens on our side.
This page exists because the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA) requires us to provide a clearly labeled "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" link in the website footer regardless of whether we sell or share data. We are providing it for compliance and transparency.
What "sell" and "share" mean in this notice
Under CCPA and CPRA, "sell" means exchanging personal information for money or other valuable consideration. "Share" means disclosing personal information to a third party for cross-context behavioral advertising. Apothify does not engage in either activity.
What we actually do with personal information
We collect the information you give us at checkout (name, email, shipping address, phone, order details) and process it only to:
- Fulfill your order and ship it to you
- Send transactional emails (order placed, payment received, shipped, tracking lookup)
- Comply with tax, accounting, and regulatory record-keeping
- If you opt in, send research and product update emails via our email delivery provider
We use service providers (payment processor, email sender, hosting platform) only to the extent needed to deliver your order. Those providers are bound by their own privacy commitments and may only use your data on our behalf.
Your CCPA and CPRA rights
Even though there is nothing to opt out of from sale or sharing, you still have the right to:
- Know what personal information we hold about you
- Access a copy of that information
- Delete it (subject to records we are required by law to keep, such as tax records)
- Correct inaccurate information
- Limit use of sensitive personal information (we do not collect sensitive personal information, so this is a non-issue here)
- Non-discrimination for exercising any of these rights
How to exercise your rights
Email support@apothify.com from the email address on your account, tell us what you want (access, deletion, correction), and we will respond within the timeframes required by law (45 days for most CCPA requests, with one 45-day extension if needed). For deletion requests we may keep records we are legally required to retain.

We do not currently offer a webform because the volume of requests does not warrant one; one email or one letter gets the same result.
Authorized agents
You can designate an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf. We will require the agent to provide a signed permission from you, and we may verify the request directly with you before acting on it.
Verification
We will verify your request by matching the email on your message against the email on your order record. We may ask for additional details (recent order number, ship-to ZIP) before releasing or deleting data.
If you want this confirmed in writing
Send an email to support@apothify.com with the subject line "Do Not Sell confirmation" and we will reply with a confirmation that no sale or sharing of your personal information has occurred or will occur.
